Eykt will build an observation deck on the summit of Bolafjall, in West Iceland. The deck will reach out over the sheer cliffs at a height of 636 meters over the fishing town of Bolungarvik. The deck will hug the rock wall of the mountaintop and extend out from there, far enough to thrill even the hardiest visitors.
The design is based on the winning proposal by Sei-architects, Landmotun and Argos, with enegineering consulting from S. Saga ehf.
Completion is scheduled in 2022.
